hey look at this stupid movie! [30 Apr 2009|02:20am] I had a day off last week and nothing to do...so this is what happened. I have another day off tomorrow, so, i'll probably make a better one..or at least another one.. 3 Commented. comment.

wolverine movie [10 Apr 2009|01:57pm] well, let's pretend for a moment that i saw the wolverine movie. If i had seen it, I might say things like this(..without spoiling anything) -The first 40 minutes might be the best part of the movie. -Fans of Gambit will probably be disappointed. -Fans of Deadpool will probably smirk and then be disappointed. -I really liked Sabertooth and the Blob.. -There are a lot of spoilerish things that broke my heart, but I wouldn't say those things until other people get a chance to see it! -I really wish that I could pretend to have seen it and say some other things about it. but at the moment, I just don't think that it would feel right to potentially spoil the movie for anyone..you know, by predicting what may happen in it, since i definitely didn't see it already. you should see it when it comes out, I plan to! and i have already been pretending that i've seen it, so it must be sort of worth it. 2 Commented. comment.

i should post in this more often.. [13 Feb 2009|01:37am] I've felt strange lately. Since my birthday, I've just been avoiding everything that makes me unhappy, save the inevitable; work, parents,etc. it's still hard to run from certain thoughts, especially with erika spending time with me as a friend..why would i do this to myself? the reason is obvious enough, i'm scared. I'm still on schedule with my adult swim submissions, except I've decided to submit 2 ideas instead of just JDWC. hopefully things work out. I think i'm going to the LGE show tomorrow, i like house shows, and new people..so, it would be smart to go. I am also supposed to hang out with amanda and mike dawson tomorrow, these things make me happy. i just want someone to want to be my friend, is that so much to ask? ..i've been drinking a little, i apologize for the melodrama, if there is any. 5 Commented. comment.

movie journal? [22 Nov 2008|11:38pm] Today I watched: Sukiyaki Western Django, From Beyond, A Boy And His Dog, Cape Fear and The Fall. Usually I only watch about 2 movies a day...Days off are insane. If you are planning on watching Sukiyaki Western Django, I suggest seeing the original Django first. Not that it is necessary..but the original movie is a lot of fun and catching the references in Miike's film makes it more enjoyable. If you are a fan of Re-animator or the evil dead films, and haven't seen From Beyond, I suggest doing so. The Fall is "presented by David Fincher and Spike Jonze" that pretty much sums it up. Visually mind blowing at times, somewhat thought provoking and has the pace of a racing snail. --------- I usually don't let myself get sick..that sounds ridiculous, but it's true. I try to convince myself of allergies and invisible "dander"..take benedryl(sp?) and pass out. usually it works. tonight, I feel sick. I think I'll watch another movie and go to sleep. Tomorrow. Heroes references to the bible and such. [06 Nov 2007|09:37am] I figured that Adam Monroe had to be Kensei, considering that Kensei was "the first" as in "adam and eve", or at least i'm pretty sure that he is the first that we know of, and everything will spawn from that. Noah bennett- They seem to be setting up a situation where there are 2 of everybody, it is sort of a broad assumption, but we have 2 regenerative people, 2 people who can fly, and 2 who can read minds. Gabriel Grey(sylar)- Gabriel was the angel of death. Peter petrelli- St. peter was said to have performed many miracles, such as walking on water AFTER SEEING JESUS DO SO. Isaac- in the bible Isaac willingly sacrificed himself sort of in the vein of jesus. Nathan-well, there was a prophet named Nathan who apparently was reprimanded over committing adultery..that one is sort of a stretch, but who knows hah. West- In American literature, moving west symbolizes gaining freedom.In Chinese Buddhism, the West represents movement toward the Buddha or enlightenment. claire seems to be moving west. There were twelve original heroes shown in the photo, such as the twelve apostles. i'm sure there is a lot more that i haven't figured out yet. let me know if you think of anything 5 Commented. comment.

me [03 Nov 2007|06:08pm] well, i'm not dead. that's good. i've been working at the new Michael's craft store on pine island, watching movies and writing as usual. lately i've had a strange new confidence in my comic. i've only written a few pages but it seems that i have a paperback already in my head, waiting to be pieced together. i constantly fight the urge to ask a friend for "help". in other words, i want this one to be entirely on me. win, lose or draw. no more blaming the other guy for not getting pages penciled, although it was pretty ridiculous at the time. it is coming together in a strange way, much more realistic than i had intended, which is great. in other news. guitar hero 3.. battle mode is ridiculously fun, albeit aggravating. sudden death is..well. you know...a killer.QLTM. i doubt anyone will get this far, but if you have made it to this point, could you possibly tell me of anywhere that hosts an open mic night that is actually worth going to? actually, can ANYONE give me some insight as to what there is to do for fun these days? i don't drink or smoke, so that seems to reduce my choices to ...this. help 1 Commented. comment.

UPDATE. [18 Jul 2007|01:48pm] Although I have been applying for every City Job available, along with a couple of other places, I still can't manage to find a job. It has to be easier than this.
